Mission
Being a part of the hemp community in WI has become one of the most rewarding sense of camaraderie since my submarine days.
The Purple Nugget is one of the few companies that truly is a seed to satisfied customer- well, clone to satisfied customer if you want to get all wordy about it.
Being a mechanic on a Nuclear powered submarine exposed me to mechanical concepts, theories of electrolysis and many other classified material. Separating molecules at an age before I was even legally able to drink was mind blowing. I knew that I was meant for bigger things at a very young age. Being helpful was something I've always admired about myself. Growing hemp and helping my customers lead their best life has become the virtue of my business.

Who taught you how to grow?
Vision
I would say I got my green thumb from my Grandma.
I remember growing tomatoes with her every year. Little did I know she was teaching me a skill-set that would become my career. Focusing on Hydroponic Horticulture while attending college opened my mind to new possibilities. I never wanted to be stuck in a cubical. Knowing that gave me the grind to explore endless possibilities.
My favorite part about growing is watching my flower bloom! Every day is like Christmas morning in those final weeks. The satisfaction I get when I'm harvesting and holding these big beautiful buds makes me so proud of myself. It still makes me feel like I did when Grandma and I would harvest those big ripe tomatoes.
Being able to produce such high quality flower for my customers to enjoy is a gift I intend to keep giving.
